Railriders is a fun adventure bicycling along the railroad tracks along the Nehalem Bay and Nehalem River.

South of Wheeler
Kelly’s Brighton Marina is great place to go crabbing, crack crabs, slurp oysters and consume clams. Yum!
North on the 101
Short Sands beach is just north of Manzanita in Oswald West State Park. This is one of the last remnants of old growth temperate rainforest left on the north coast and is a gorgeous and easy ¹⁄₄ mile stroll through the old growth forest and Necarney Creek leading to a beautiful cove and beach. This is a popular spot for surfers throughout the year.
